Durgapur barrage lock gate damaged, panic of flood in Bengal villages

Durgapur (West Bengal), Oct 31 (IANS) A portion of lock gate of Durgapur barrage got severely damaged on Friday night triggering panic among villagers that it may lead to inundation of a large part of low-lying areas in West Bengal's West Burdwan district, officials said on Saturday.
